Tabraiz Shamsi won the Man of the Match award for his terrific spell during the South Africa vs Nepal match in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on Saturday, June 15. The chinaman bowler, who was playing his first match of the tournament, spun a web around the Nepal batters, finishing with figures of 4/19 in his four overs. Shamsi got two wickets each in his first and last overs, with the biggest of his victims being Aasif Sheikh, who was bowled for 42 runs at a crucial juncture of the game. His effort helped South Africa eventually win the match by just one run to finish unbeaten in the group stage.
