He scored 60 runs which helped Afghanistan set a competitive total which ultimately played a big role in Afghanistan managing to edge past the ODI World Champions. After the match, while celebrating in the dressing room, Gurbaz said 'They hurt us, we hurt them', pointing at the crushing defeat handed to the Afghans by Australia where Glenn Maxwell took them apart during a big chase.
