Viral Video Claims Fan Called Virat Kohli 'Chokli' During Training Session Ahead of IND vs SL ODI Series 2024
The star batter, who recently retired from T20Is, is set to be in action in the India vs Sri Lanka ODI series, which start from August 2. The Indian cricket team, led by Suryakumar Yadav, earlier pulled off a 3-0 clean sweep over Sri Lanka in the T20I series.
A video has gone viral on social media which claims that a fan called Virat Kohli 'Chokli' during training ahead of the India vs Sri Lanka ODI series. The clip shows Kohli shadow-practising in the dressing room in front of some of his teammates when he reacted to the fan's 'Chokli' chant which came from outside. The video further shows Kohli irked by the gesture and claimed that he responded to the chant, saying 'Not here.' The premier batsman and captain, Rohit Sharma, will be in action for the first time since winning the T20 World Cup 2024 last month.
