Earlier this year, the IPL was cut short due to an increasing number of COVID-19 infections within the teams as the second wave struck the country. However, the second phase of the competition is back in the UAE this time as teams would once again look to battle it out for the top prize.
Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli, Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma and other stars of all the IPL teams were seen engaging in light banter in a video call ahead of the resumption of the T20 tournament.
