The Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr were without the services of their star forward Cristiano Ronaldo. Sultan Al Ghannam broke the deadlock to score in the 14th minute for Al-Nassr. The hosts Al-Shorta equalised after Mohammed Dawood scored for them in the 24th minute. Both sides were evenly matched. The absence of Aymeric Laporte was also felt in Al-Nassr's defence. Both teams had to settle for a point each after ending up in a 1-1 draw.
