Despite taking lead twice, Arsenal couldn't close down the game as Liverpool came back from behind twice to take a point from the game. Both teams will be disappointed with the result.
Arsenal and Liverpool settle for 2-2 draw in the Premier League 2024-25 after a hard-fought encounter at Emirates Stadium. Not the best result for both teams as it will now give a significant advantage to Manchester City to break a lead at the top of the points table. It was an engaging an even game from the start although Arsenal took the lead through a brilliant goal through Bukayo Saka. The goal was soon equalised by Virgil van Dijk. Arsenal restored their lead by the end of the second half, when Mikel Merino converted a set piece. At the dying moments of the game, Mohammad Salah converted from Darwin Nunez's assist and secured a point for Liverpool.
