Chelsea with the fourth consecutive win has now moved up to the sixth spot in the Premier League 2023-24 points table. They can possibly end up in the Europa League spot for the coming season only if things end up in their way.
Chelsea came up with another dramatic win after young guns Cole Palmer and Christopher Nkunku struck for the Blues. Chelsea can even finish their campaign in the Europa League spot for next year, only if Tottenham Hotspur lose their remaining game. Cole Palmer broke the deadlock and scored the goal for the Blues in the 34th minute. Christopher Nkunku doubled the lead after scoring in the 64th minute for Chelsea. Danny Welbeck scored late for Brighton which was at the end not enough. Reece Hames received a red card and will miss out on the last game of the Premier League 2023-24 season for Chelsea.
