Ipswich Town achieved promotion to the Premier League for the first time in 22 years. The side defeated Huddersfield Town on the final day of the Championship regular season. Ipswich finished on 96 points six points above Leeds United. Back in the 2021-22 season Ipswich side was playing in Championship League 2 and underwent an overhaul. But the decision paid off as the side moved up to the championship of the English Premier League in the same season. And with another advancement this season, Ipswich Town achieved back-to-back promotions becoming the first team since Southampton in 2012 to do so.
