Domenico Berardi netted a hat-trick as Italy beat Malta 4-0 in a Group C match in the UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifiers on Sunday, October 15. The Azzurri were dominant right from the outset with Giacomo Bonaventura opening the scoring in the 22nd minute. Berardi's goals came next, one before half-time and the other in the 63rd minute and Davide Frattesi rounded off the win with a strike of his own in stoppage time. With this victory, the reigning European champions are now second behind England in the Group C standings.
