Neymar returned to the Brazil squad after his injury while Arsenal youngster Gabriel Martinelli received his first senior Brazil call-up as the Selecao picked their squad for the upcoming 2022 CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers. Dani Alves was also named in the squad.
