Peruvian Shamans Perform Ritual To ‘Curse’ Neymar Prior to Brazil vs Peru CONMEBOL FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers, Video Goes Viral

The shamans were seen stamping on posters of the former Barcelona and PSG man, with the hope that this ritual would prevent him from doing good against Peru in the qualifiers. Brazil eventually beat Peru 1-0.

In an interesting development, a group of shamans in Peru performed a ritual to 'curse' Neymar before their national team's match against Peru in the CONMEBOL FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers which was on September 12. In a video that has gone viral on social media, the shamans, dressed in colourful clothes, were seen stamping repeatedly on posters of the Al-Hilal star. They also had a small effigy of the player that they poked with knives. The shamans also blew shells and showered flowers on pictures of their national team players.
