Real Madrid secured three points after their 3-1 win over Stuttgart in their opening match of the UEFA Champions League 2024-25. Despite having most of the ball possession Stuttgart failed to convert in the final third.
Real Madrid have started their UEFA Champions League (UCL) title defence on a positive note. Kylian Mbappe broke the deadlock between the sides in the second half after scoring in the 46th minute. Deniz Undav equalised for Stuttgart in the 68th minute. Things were even until Antonio Rudiger put Real Madrid back in front in the 83rd minute. Endrick scored on his UCL debut and helped Real Madrid win their opening match of the UCL 2024-25 by a scoreline of 3-1. Stuttgart had most of the ball possession but Real Madrid were the better team in the final third.
