India Men’s Hockey Team Beats Uzbekistan 16–0 in First Group Stage Match of Asian Games 2023
Craig Fulton's side was without captain Harmanpreet Singh but that did not stop them from registering a massive win and begin their Asian Games 2023 campaign on a high. India will be in action against Singapore on Tuesday.
The Indian men's hockey team produced a dominant performance as they beat Uzbekistan 16-0 to kickstart their campaign at the Asian Games 2023 on September 24. Lalit Upadhyay and Varun Kumar scored four goals each while Mandeep Singh hit a hat-trick and there were strikes from Amit Rohidas, Sukhjeet Singh and Mandeep Singh and Sanjay as Craig Fulton's side got off to a flying start. They were without captain Harmanpreet Singh who was one of India's flag-bearer at the opening ceremony. Asian Games 2023 Medal Tally Updated.
