India played against Great Britain in the last match of their campaign in FIH Pro League 2023-24. Goals from Harmanpreet Singh and Sukhjeet Singh gave Team India a chance in the match who trailed the British side throughout the match.

Indian Team suffered back-to-back defeats in the final two matches at FIH Pro League 2023–24 London Leg. The side lost 2-3 against Great Britain. Roper Phil opened the scoring in the very first minute of the match, but Sukhjeet Singh levelled for India before halftime. Captain Harmanpreet Singh gave India the lead with a 36th-minute strike but the lead was quickly wiped out by Waller Jack the next minute. Both sides tried hard to take the lead again but Forsyth Alan’s goal in the 50th minute proved to be the decisive goal of the match. Preparing for the Paris Olympics 2024, the Indian Men's Hockey Team was expecting a better performance against Great Britain.
