The gold rush for India continued on October 7 with the men's kabaddi team winning the top prize, beating Iran 33-29 in the final of Asian Games 2023. The match was marred with some decisions which sparked controversy but India eventually held on to win the gold medal in the end. It was India's 28th gold medal in this Asiad and 103rd medal overall.
