Neeraj Chopra missed out on the Doha Diamond League title by the nearest of margins as he finished second to Jakub Vadlejch by the difference of only 0.02 metres. Neeraj hit the 88.36m mark in his sixth and final throw. He started comparatively slow in the beginning while Vadlejch took the lead straightaway and extended it with a throw of 88.38m. Neeraj kept up the competition till the end but missed out narrowly in the final throw.
