Prime Minister Narendra Modi displayed a heartfelt gesture as he personally called Indian athlete Sarabjot Singh to congratulate him on his bronze medal win. In the call PM Modi also asked the star shooter to send his best wishes to Manu Bhaker, who partnered Sarabjot in the mixed 10M Air Pistol event bronze medal win. PM Modi earlier had called Manu Bhaker also when she won India’s first medal in the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
