Ahead of the start of the Paris Paralympics 2024, an athlete went missing in Paris. The female athlete belongs to the Rwandan contingent and is part of their sitting volleyball team. The sitting volleyball athlete left the camp where her delegation was staying in the Paris on August 20 to go to a restaurant but never returned. On Tuesday, the president of the Rwandan Olympic Committee visited the local police station to report her disappearance. An investigation has now been opened by the Nanterre prosecutor’s office.
