The Italian is the world no 1 ranked player and he lived upto that reputation, beating the Serbian in the semi-final of a second straight Grand Slam, doing so earlier at the French Open 2025. With this victory, Jannik Sinner set up a clash against Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon 2025 final, after the Spaniard beat Taylor Fritz to reach the summit clash at The Championships for a third consecutive time.
