From a set down, Novak Djokovic made a great comeback to win the quarterfinal match against Jakub Mensik at Shanghai Masters 2024. He will play against Taylor Fritz on Saturday.
Former World number one Novak Djokovic had to work hard to get over unseeded Jakub Mensik. The Czech international won the first set on tie-breaker setting up an exciting match. But Djokovic took control of the game later and won the next set with a 6-1 scoreline. In the decider set, Djokovic once again broke the serve twice but had to stretch himself to clinch the decider with a 6-4 score and made it to his 78th semifinal of the ATP 1000 tournament.
