According to a report, Apple would likely finalise an agreement with ChatGPT-developer OpenAI to use its artificial intelligence (AI) technology on the iPhones. Apple OpenAI Partnership could help in broader AI push bringing new features to Apple devices.

Apple had been talking to Google and Microsoft-backed OpenAI to bring the AI models to its iPhones and likely to other products. Later, Apple also rolled out its own OpenELM AI models a few weeks ago, starting the rumour that the upcoming models could use it for on-device AI. Now, Bloomberg reported that Apple would finally reach an agreement with OpenAI to use its artificial intelligence tech on iPhones. This collaboration would reportedly aim to bring AI to Apple devices. Apple WWDC 2024 is scheduled for next month, and soon, the agreement will be formal between these two tech companies. According to the report, it would mean that Apple's plan to use  Google's Gemini AI models in its iPhone did not reach an agreement. The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference will start on June 10, during which the collaboration of OpenAI and Apple will be witnessed.
