Users on X also stated that the Pakistan army suspended internet services in the area after the incident. However, the reports are not true. Nasir Mahmood Bashir, commissioner of Dera Ghazi Khan, issued a statement clarifying the rumours surrounding the incident. Bashir said that the "blasts" were, in fact, Pakistani Air Force's fighter jet breaking the sound barrier.
