WIN! Punjab Kings have managed to chase down yet another over 200-run chase in IPL. Shreyas Iyer led with the bat, scoring a fifty, while others contributed with quickfire knocks. This is CSK's sixth straight loss in Chennai. Matt Henry and Anshul Kamboj claimed 2 wickets but were extremely expensive.

FIFTY! This is a captain's knock from Shreyas Iyer, who scores his maiden fifty of the season. Iyer's half-century came off 26 balls, which included three sixes and 4 fours. 

PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer has provided a timely impetus to the innings, which has brought his team near the finish line. Iyer, along with Nehal Wadhera have added 50 off 24, with the former contributing the most.

OUT! Anshul Kamboj gets his man, and Cooper Connolly has to walk back after a quick 36 off 22. Kamboj's yorker became a full toss, but Connolly managed to mishit the ball on the upper half of the bat, which saw the ball get into the fielders' hands.

This is a stellar start by Punjab Kings openers, with Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh adding 51 runs in 3.2 overs. Arya has contributed 33, while Singh sits on 15, playing a second fiddle. 

Punjab Kings have brought in Priyansh Arya as their impact sub, while Chennai Super Kings bring in Rahul Chahar. It is important that Arya, along with Prabhsimran Singh, provide the side a brisk start, given how scoring runs against a semi-new/old ball becomes tough. 

 CSK have managed to get past the 200-run mark, thanks to Shivam Dube, who scored 45 off 28 balls, while Prashant Veer hit 6 off 7. PBKS bowlers dished out a disciplined spell in the final few overs to restrict the homeside under 210.

After the fall of three quick wickets, Shivam Dube and Sarfaraz Khan have managed to stop the bleeding for the team. Khan, in particular, has taken upon himself to charge the bowlers, while Dube is playing an anchor role. 

OUT! Marco Jansen comes for his second spell and dismisses Kartik Sharma. Shama went for the swipe but missed the call completely and found himself struck in front of the stumps. PBKS took a solid rewview, which saw the on-field decision overturn. CSK are lossing their way in the middle.

This has been a sensational stand for the second wicket between Ayush Mhatre and Ruturaj Gaikwad. Captain Gaikwad is playing a sheet anchor role, while Mhatre is dishing out runs and boundaries at will, ensuring CSK cross the 100-run mark. 

FIFTY! Ayush Mhatre reaches his second-ever IPL fifty in style, with a maximum. Mhatre reached his first IPL half-century of IPL 2026, and in Chennai on 29 balls, which include 4 fours and as many sixes.

Since the fall of Sanju Samson's wicket, the charge has been led by youngster Ayush Mhatre, who is outscoring the experienced Ruturaj Gaikwad. The duo has added 35 runs in quick time, taking 19 odd balls. 

OUT! Xavier Bartlett provides Punjab a perfect start, dismissing the in-form Sanju Samson. Samson went for the drive, but ended up giving a catch to the keeper. This is Samson's second successive failure in the yellow jersey.
