Stumps! Day 2's play comes to an end and India are in a dominant position and are looking at a comfortable victory here. KL Rahul scored the first century of the day but got dismissed soon after. Shubman Gill perished playing an ugly shot. After that, it was all in control for Dhruv Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja who stitched a massive partnership and both scored centuries. Although Jurel was finally dismissed in the last few moments of the day, Jadeja stay unbeaten and India look at a massive total from here on. West Indies now need a miracle to save themselves.

Hundred! Dhruv Jurel puts the ball away to the boundary and his face explains the result. Jurel has reached his maiden Test hundred and he is elated. He has always shown sparks and the capability to score big in Test cricket and now when he has found the opportunity, he has stepped up. Batted methodically and showed presence to bring up his maiden Test century.

Not much events in the last few overs. Dhruv Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja keep rotating the strike and ticking the scoreboard. India are progressing towards a massive lead and West Indies cannot do much here.

India have completed 100 overs in their first innings, where they have already taken a 173-run lead. Dhruv Jurel is currently batting on 74, while Ravindra Jadeja is playing on  53, with both batters looking to convert their starts into hundreds. If Jurel gets to his hundred, this will be his maiden Test ton, bettering his 90-run knock against England last year.

Both Dhruv Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja have added 111 runs for the fifth wicket, with the former looking well-set for his maiden Test ton, the latter wanting to convert his start into a massive innings. The West Indies have taken the new ball and will hope for inroads.

India's lead is now touching 150, as Ravindra Jadeja and Dhruv Jurel take their partnership to 95 runs in 138 balls.  Jadeja is currently batting on 42, and is nearing his 28th half-century, while Dhruv Jurel is on course to slam his second Test ton.

FIFTY! Dhruv Jurel slams his second Test half-century as he brings out his 'Salute' celebration dedicated to his father. Jurel took merely 91 balls to reach his second Test fifty, which has been laced five fours and two sixes. Jurel has added 74 runs with Ravindra Jadeja for the fifth wicket.

India's lead have managed to cross over 100 runs, with Drhuv Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja adding 56 runs for the fifth wicket, in merely 91 deliveries. West Indies, after picking the wicket of KL Rahul, have been unable to capitalise on the breakthrough, and have been giving away runs each over.

Post KL Rahul's wicket, Dhruv Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja have snitched a solid 29-run stand, which has come in just 37 balls. Their stand has been taken, India's lead nearthe  100-run mark, as West Indies look for more wickets, with spinners bowling at both ends.

Justin Greaves, who has been tight with his line and lengths, gets a reward, as Rahul went for the expansive drive and perished at the extra-cover region. The first session has been all about India, with KL Rahul reaching his second Test century on Indian soil, while achieving his 11th overall. Captain Shubman Gill, too, contributed with a solid 50,  but perished to opposition skipper Roston Chase. Thanks to KL Rahul and Gill, India have managed to gain a 56-run lead at lunch on Day 2.

Ever since becoming India's Test captain, Gill has taken on the role quite fittingly, leading with the bat and as a leader. On the other hand, KL Rahul is also nearing his 11th Test ton.
