Hello, and welcome to our live coverage of Kolkata Knight Riders vs Punjab Kings IPL 2026 match number 12. Stay tuned for toss and other updates.

KKR vs PBKS Highlights: The Match 12 clash of IPL 2026 at Eden Gardens features two teams trending in opposite directions. The home side, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), are reeling from a winless start after consecutive losses to Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Under the leadership of Ajinkya Rahane, KKR’s primary concern has been a lack of cohesion in their bowling attack and a middle order that has struggled to support the early aggression of Finn Allen and young Angkrish Raghuvanshi. Tonight, the three-time champions face the daunting task of ending their slide against a well-drilled opponent in their own backyard. You can follow Kolkata Knight Riders vs Punjab Kings Match Scorecard here.

In stark contrast, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) arrive in the "City of Joy" with a perfect record and a chance to reclaim the top spot on the points table. Led by former KKR captain Shreyas Iyer, Punjab has looked clinical across both departments. Their success has been anchored by the explosive form of young guns Cooper Connolly and Priyansh Arya, while the bowling unit, spearheaded by Arshdeep Singh and the veteran leg-spin of Yuzvendra Chahal, has consistently stifled opposition batting lineups. PBKS will look to exploit KKR’s tactical uncertainties and maintain their unbeaten streak. Kolkata Knight Riders vs Punjab Kings, IPL 2026 Live Streaming Online and Free Telecast.

Historically, KKR has dominated this rivalry with 21 wins to Punjab's 13, but recent form suggests a much closer contest. The Eden Gardens surface is expected to be a typical batting paradise with a par score of over 210, though the seasonal threat of Kalbaisakhi (Nor'wester) storms looms large. Kolkata Weather and Rain Forecast for KKR vs PBKS IPL 2026.

With rain in the forecast, the toss will be critical, as the "DLS factor" and the chasing team’s advantage under lights could dictate the outcome. Both teams will be desperate for a result, KKR to kickstart their season and PBKS to cement their status as early title contenders.
