The protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act and NRC have reached its peak with each passing day. First, it was the students of Jamia Milia Islamia who protested against the CAA and NRC bill and then was widely followed in the places like West Bengal, Mumbai and others. A lot of celebrities spoke about the issue and even former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif has something to say about the protests. The former Indian cricketer has raised his voice against the ongoing violence.  Irfan Pathan on CAA Protest: 'Political Blame Game Will Go on Forever But I and Our Country Concerned About Jamia Milia Students'.

Without getting into a blame game, the former Indian cricketer asked the government to intervene. Mohammad Kaif also urged the Government, engage and listen. He also appealed to the people to put the country first before anything else. Prior to this, it was Irfan Pathan who has spoken up about the violence at the Jamia Milia Islamia.

Mohammad Kaif took to social media and wrote, “I condemn violence! But instead of blaming students/police/3rdparty, let's address root cause of this unrest. I humbly request Govt to listen&engage with the aggrieved-no matter how small they may be demographically. I've always put my country first & request everyone to do so.” Mohammad Kaif has always been spoken his mind and has been trolled brutally a lot of times. But that doesn’t stop him from speaking his mind.

Prior to this, Irfan Pathan had said that the students of Jamia are their own and it's their responsibility for us to stay calm and maintain sanity. He also condemned the violence happening at the universities.
