Rajasthan Royals have pulled off a sensational win, thanks to knocks from Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Dhruv Jurel, where the former ensured the tide remained in his team's pocket. Josh Hazlewood and Krunal Pandya picked wickets to put RR under pressure, but Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja guided them past the finish line. 

FIFTY! Dhruv Jurel has hit a half-century in 25 balls, which might seem slow in comparison to Vaibhav Suryavanshi, but a crucial knock nonetheless. Despite wickets falling at the other end, Jurel kept one end secured and managed to bring the side to the brink of a win. 

OUT! RCB have made a comeback in the contest, claiming wickets in back-to-back overs as Josh Hazlewood dismisses captain Riyan Parag. Parag played an irresponsible shot, giving his wicket away at long-on. 

OUT! Krunal Pandya gets another wicket as Shimron Hetmyer plays an absolutely mindless shot. Hetmyer guided the ball straight to the short third man fielder off a short ball. 

OUT! Krunal Pandya gets RCB a much-needed breakthrough as Vaibhav Suryavanshi departs for 78. Suryavanshi flat bats the ball towards long-on, mis-hitting a short ball by Krunal Pandya. 

RCB have been completely blown away by Vaibhai Suryavanshi and Dhruv Jurel, with the duo adding 100 off 34 balls. Suryavanshi scored a fifty off 15, and is nearing a century, while Jurel himself is on the brink of a fifty. 

FIFTY! Vaibhav Suryavanshi has reached his half-century in merely 15-balls, hitting eight fours and four sixes. This is the second joint-fastest half-century for RR in IPL history.

RR have reached fifty in just the fourth over, thanks to Vaibhai Suryavanshi, scoring 41 off 13 balls. The fall of Yashasvi Jaiswal's wicket did not deter Suryavanshi one bit, taking Josh Hazlewood to the cleaners in his second over. 

OUT! Josh Hazlewood has the final laugh, as Yashasvi Jaiswal falls for 13. Jaiswal went for the cut shot, but the ball was too close to the body, and the batter edged one straight to the keeper. As expected, RR openers Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal did come out all guns blazing. 

Venkatesh Iyer has come good for RCB as their impact sub, scoring 29 off 15, lifting his team past the 200-run mark. Rajat Patidar and Romario Shepherd played their part with 63 and 22, respectively, after the top and middle-order collapsed to 94 for 6. 

OUT! Sandeep Sharma into the attack, and gets the big fish Rajat Patidar. Patidar showcased aggressive cricket despite all other batters failing. Patidar went for the big shot, but holed out at deep midwicket for 63 off 40.

FIFTY! Rajat Patidar scores a crucial fifty, scoring 50 off 36 balls, with 4 fours and two sixes. RCB have used their impact sub and brought in Venkatesh Iyer as their middle-order, completely collapsed. Captain Patidar is keeping one end hold up, while others are going back-to-hut. Onus on Patidar and Iyer to provide RCB a solid finish, given this is the last recognised pair. 

OUT! Brijish Sharma gets his second wicket as Tim David falls after a brisk 13. RCB batters are trying to hit their way out of a ditch, which the team finds itself in after suffering a collapse. 

Since the fall of Virat Kohli, it has been all downhill for RCB, with as many as two batters falling in quick time. Brijesh Sharma, in his maiden over in the match, trapped Jitesh Sharma leg-before wicket. Captain Rajat Sharma and Tim David are in the middle, who will look to settle things down for the team. 

Ravi Bishnoi has managed to pull things back in RR's favour with his two wickets. First Virat Kohli, and then Krunal Pandya. Kohli got bowled, while Pandya handed a catch towards long-off, trying to show aggression. Captain Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma will need to do the consolidation work.

OUT! Ravi Bishnoi makes his mark in the first over and dismisses the in-form Virat Kohli. Kohli scored a solid 32 off 16, but ended up being bowled by the leg-spinner. Kohli missed the straighter ball trying to loft the ball.

OUT! Jofra Archer has the final laugh in the over, as Devdutt Padikkal is dismissed. Padikkal played a half-hearted pull, which went up in the air, and Shimron Hetmyer claimed an excellent catch diving.

Since the fall of Phil Salt's wicket, RCB have managed to sneak in a few fours, while some have been the result of good and bad bowling. Devdutt Padikkal looked solid, hitting a few fours, while Virat Kohli is living dangerously. 

OUT! Jofra Archer gets his contryman as Phil Salt departs for a golden duck. A well-directed short-delivery sees Salt get tangled up, as the ball lobs up after a top edge and lands safely in the hand of Dhruv Jurel. 

Good news for fans, the rain has stopped in Guwahati, and the start time for the RR vs RCB IPL 2026 match is now at 8:40 PM IST.  So far, no overs have been deducted.
