T10 League 2018: Zaheer Khan, Praveen Kumar Among 8 Indian Cricketers to Feature in the Second Season

In the upcoming T10 League, eight Indian cricketers including former players Zaheer Khan, RP Singh and Praveen Kumar will be seen in action. The second edition of T10 League starts on November 23 in Sharjah. “I am happy to announce that we have signed up eight Indian players to play in the second season of the tournament,” Shaji Ul Mulk, chairman of the league, said in a statement. T10 Cricket League Teams First-Look: Brendon McCullum, Rashid Khan, and Chris Lynn Named Icon Players In First Draft

“This will encourage players from all over the world to join the T10 League movement and help popularise the 10-over format cricket worldwide in the coming years,” he added.

Earlier former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag was named as the T10 Cricket League brand icon apart from Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi and New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum. Former Pakistan cricket team captain Wasim Akram is also associated with the league and has been named as Director of Talent Hunt Programme.

Kerala Kings won the inaugural season of the league. This season two new teams, Karachians, and Northern Warriors, have been added and that takes the number of participating teams to eight. The teams will be drawn into two groups with top two teams from each pool reaching the semis.
