Mason Greenwood has been released from custody on bail after he was arrested on Sunday following suspicion of rape and assault. He was earlier subjected to 'further arrest' on Tuesday by Greater Manchester Police for suspicion of sexual assault and giving threats to kill. The police are still investigating this issue. This comes after Greenwood's girlfriend Harriet Robson shared pictures of what she alleged was the footballer's abuse of her. The pictures, video and also audio clips that she had taken the football world by shock. Manchester United later had suspended the player from training and playing games until further notice. Greenwood was also shunned on Instagram by some of his top Manchester United teammates, namely Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Pogba and David De Gea to name a few. Greenwood was also removed from the popular football game FIFA 22 as investigations are carrying on, into this issue. The 20-year old is one of the most promising talents in England and has also represented the country, having made it to the top from Manchester United's academy.
