Kabaddi Masters Dubai 2018: India Beat Pakistan Again, Qualify for Semi-Finals

India continued their dominance over arch-rivals Pakistan as they yet again emerged victorious in the ongoing Kabaddi Masters Dubai 2018. India once again dished out an impressive performance as they beat Pakistan handsomely by 41-17 in a group stage match. During their win, India inflicted all-out thrice and now have made it to the semi-finals of the tournament. Earlier, Iran became the first team to qualify for last four flowing their win over South Korea.

India continued from where they left in their last meeting against Pakistan. Inside first five minutes of the match, India took a lead of 5-1 and never allowed Pakistan to settle in. At the half-time, India gained a substantial lead of 18-9 thanks to seem solid raiding and defence. India’s dominating show continued on the other side of the break as well and five minutes into the second-half Pakistan suffered second all-out. At this point in time, India was leading 24-11.

As the game progressed things became tough for Pakistan. Before three minutes of close of play, India inflicted third all-out on Pakistan to cap off an impressive outing. Monu Goyat, who picked ten raid points in the last match against Kenya, once again showed his worth. Interestingly, he came in the second-half but managed to snatch a point extra than Ajay Thakur and Rishank Devadiga, who picked six raid points each.

Meanwhile, India, who lead the Group A, will now face Kenya in their last group stage match tomorrow. Pakistan, on the other hand, need to beat Kenya in their last group stage match to qualify for semis. Pakistan take on the African nation on Wednesday.
