SpaceXAI has launched Grok Bot, a new AI agent designed to work more like a digital teammate than a conventional chatbot. The company says Bots have their own computer, can sign into tools users already work with, operate across apps and websites, and complete tasks end to end before returning to the user when approval is required.

Grok Bot is being launched in beta and is available today to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers on desktop and iOS. Enterprise users can join a waitlist for future access. The company said the product began as an internal prototype that was adopted across teams for sales, marketing, office operations and engineering work. Will AI-Generated Content Be Eligible for X Monetisation? What Is Grok Bot?

Grok Bot is designed to allow users to hand off work in the same way they might delegate a task to a colleague. According to SpaceXAI, Bots can remember conversations, learn how users prefer tasks to be completed and become more effective through repeated interaction.

The company says users do not need to build complicated workflows before assigning work. Instead, they can message a Bot from a phone or desktop and ask it to take on a task. X Original Content Rewards Program: Know What New X Monetisation Model Offers, Eligibility Criteria and Key Changes.

Bots Get Their Own Computer

One of the main features of Grok Bot is that each Bot has access to its own computer in the cloud. This allows a Bot to continue working even when the user steps away. The company says Bots can sign into apps, tools and websites and work with platforms that do not have a clean API or MCP connection.

That means tasks can be completed inside the actual software where the work needs to happen rather than simply producing instructions for a human to follow.

Early examples cited by SpaceXAI include a sales Bot updating a CRM with call transcript notes and drafting follow-ups, an operations Bot handling new-hire seating and invoices received in Gmail, and an engineering Bot reproducing a product bug, filing a ticket and handing the fix to another debugging Bot.

Users Can Message Bots Like Colleagues

Grok Bot is also designed around a conversational interface. Users can message a Bot from their phone or desktop, continue the same conversation later and hand off tasks without first setting up an automation or workflow. The company says this approach is intended to reduce the setup involved with traditional AI agents and workflow tools.

Multiple Bots Can Work Together

Another feature allows users to run multiple Bots simultaneously. SpaceXAI says teams can assign different Bots to areas such as inbox management, expenses, recruiting, bug fixes and operations. A higher-level Bot can also coordinate the work of other Bots.

Bots can independently message one another and share context through threads, according to the company. They can also be placed in group chats where they can assign work, pass tasks between themselves and involve the user when a decision requires human judgment.

Grok Bot Can Learn Workflows

SpaceXAI says users can teach a Bot a workflow by having it observe how a task is completed. The Bot can then save the process as a routine, incorporate corrections and run the same multi-step workflow independently in the future. The feature is intended to reduce the need for users to repeatedly explain the same process.

Bots Can Become More Proactive

The company also says Bots retain context about how users prefer their work to be handled. After repeated interactions, they can learn a user's preferred style, identify edge cases and determine when to ask for help or continue independently. Bots can also follow up on unfinished conversations, remind users about stalled handoffs and resume previous work, according to SpaceXAI.

Grok Bot is currently available in beta to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers on desktop and iOS. Enterprise users can join a waitlist for future access.

The launch marks a shift in how AI agents are being positioned: instead of primarily generating answers or assisting with individual prompts, Grok Bot is designed to take responsibility for multi-step digital work and complete it inside the tools people already use. For now, the product remains in beta, with its broader rollout and enterprise availability still to come.
