Today, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor will be launching its new Honor Play smartphone at an event held in New Delhi. Eager fans can watch the live stream on their official YouTube channel, which will kick-start at 11.45 am. Enhanced with AI technology, the device offers various capabilities like battery optimisation, GPU Turbo technology and AI camera utilities such as depth-focus mode, portrait mode and scene recognition options among others. Powering the phone is the 970 octa-core Kirin SoC infused with Neural Processing Unit (NPU) paired with 6 GB RAM. Also, it has a 64 GB ROM expandable up to 256 GB. Coming to camera specifications, the dual rear camera comes with 16MP + 2MP sensor, and the front camera incorporates a massive 16MP lens for selfies and video chats. The new feature, Smart AI Gallery management, helps classify pictures of different scenarios and automatically segregates photos and videos based on time, location and occasions. With AI aided cameras, Honor Play can identify 22 different categories and 500 scenarios in real time, giving spontaneous effects to your images and videos.

Designed for gamers, the phone features 3D surround sound effects and 4D gaming experience with smart shock. With features like these, players can dive into their gaming realm for hours long and experience 4D smart shock during the intense screen crunching sessions.
