HMD Global is all set to launch their next line of smartphones at an event held in London on October 4. As per reports, Nokia’s brand owner has already sent out media invites, which states that the event will start at 5 pm BST (9.30 pm IST). With anticipation building up ahead of the launch, there have been many leaks and reports regarding the upcoming smartphones from Nokia. Another smartphone is the Nokia 9, which is also rumoured to be Nokia’s next flagship device that is expected to feature a four-camera setup at the rear and could sport the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Recently, Slash Leaks website posted an image, which showcased the upcoming Nokia 7.1 Plus’s back cover. Judging by the picture, the rear panel showcases that Nokia 7.1 Plus could be another Android One phone with dual camera setup and fingerprint sensor. Coming to the specifications, Nokia 7.1 Plus could sport a 6.1-inch OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover for protection. The smartphone may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and could be paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage space. For the optics, Nokia 7.1 Plus might sport a dual camera setup of 12MP + 5MP sensors at the rear and a 16MP front-facing camera. According to reports, the new Android One device is expected to carry a 3,300mAh battery along with a USB Type-C port, which is hinted to support fast charging capabilities.
