According to the market reports, the company will be using MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chip that will be aimed to keep the prices low. Keeping this in view, OnePlus 8 Lite will be the cheapest offering under the OnePlus 8 series. It is reported that the company will be ditching the Snapdragon 865 SoC to keep the phone in the affordable range. Interestingly, the MediaTek chipset will not be as powerful as the Snapdragon 865 processor.

The MediaTek chipset on the OnePlus 8 reportedly will be clubbed with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Moreover, we will also be seeing a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate on OnePlus 8 Lite. Additional highlights of the phone could be 4000mAh battery, 30W Warp charging, 48MP triple rear camera and much more.

The forthcoming OnePlus 8 is believed to be a repackaged version of OnePlus 7T with a MediaTek chipset underneath that would be priced at a much lower price point. As far as the prices are concerned, we speculate that OnePlus could launch OnePlus 8 Lite under the price bracket of Rs 30,000. It is also assumed that OnePlus 8 Pro will sport a Quad HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.
