Performance and Display Powerhouse

The Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, fabricated on a 4nm process, which is designed to deliver strong performance. Enhancing the gaming experience further is a dedicated Tecno P1 graphics chip, which the company claims can maintain up to 144FPS in shooting and battle arena games. Users can also expect features like 4D Game Vibration and Dolby Atmos-tuned dual stereo speakers for immersive audio.

Display-wise, the smartphone sports a 6.78-inch HyperLux AMOLED panel, offering a crisp 1.5K resolution and a super-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It boasts an impressive peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits and a 2,800Hz instant touch sampling rate, ensuring vibrant visuals and highly responsive interactions. For durability, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Photography enthusiasts will find a dual-camera setup on the rear, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a Sony LYT-700C and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), complemented by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. For selfies and video calls, the device is expected to feature a 13-megapixel front camera.

Keeping the device running is a substantial 6,500mAh battery, supported by 45W wired fast charging. The phone also offers 10W reverse wired charging and smart bypass charging capabilities.

A standout feature of the Pova 8 Pro 5G is its unique Alive Matrix Display on the back. This innovative element incorporates 177 mini LEDs to create dynamic “Breathing Light” effects across more than 49 scenarios, including incoming calls, messages, and gaming alerts. The phone is also built to be durable, featuring an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance and a vapour chamber cooling solution (with a 5,000 sq mm heat dissipation area) for efficient thermal management. Details were provided by Gizbot report.
