Xiaomi, the Chinese technology giant has officially announced the launch of its second Mi Watch, which is dubbed as Mi Watch Color. As a reminder, the Chinese brand launched its first Mi Watch smartwatch earlier this year in November. Now, the company has silently expanded its smartwatch portfolio with the new Mi Watch Color. Notably, the key specifications and prices are expected to go official on January 3 when the smartwatch will go on sale in China. The Mi Watch Color bears a circular dial hinting a similar design to the next-gen Samsung Galaxy Watch as well as old Moto 360. Moreover, the company is also offering replaceable straps with the smartwatch giving multiple colour options to the customers. The new Mi Watch Color will join Mi Watch, which comes with Apple Watch-like design that is priced from CNY 1,299 (around Rs 13,000). However, the premium version of the Mi Watch costs CNY 1,999 (Rs 20,000). On the specification front, the smartwatch sports a 1.78-inch AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 chip, 570mAh battery and compatibility for 4G, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS and e-SIM support. Notably, the full specifications, as well as prices of Mi Watch Color smartwatch, will be revealed on January 3, 2020.
