Ex-US Sniper Nick Betts Claims Secret Area 51 Battle With ‘Reptilian’ Entities Left Soldier Dead
Former US Army sniper Nick Betts claimed on the Liberty Risk podcast that a JSOC soldier recounted a secret Area 51 firefight where troops used directed-energy weapons against three reptilian beings, leaving an American soldier dead. Betts alleged he was later choke-slammed against a wall and warned to stay silent, while the White House denies alien claims.
A former US sniper claims that service members participated in a top-secret operation near Area 51 and supposedly traded fire with reptilian aliens - a battle that ended with an American soldier dead. Nick Betts, a co-host of the Liberty Risk podcast, claims an unidentified soldier of the US Army's elite special missions unit described to him a secret operation in which he and his fellow soldiers were supplied with energy weapons, so they could kill three extraterrestrial creatures who had supposedly breached a top-secret US facility.
The harrowing tale was revealed to Betts by a member of the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) over drinks while the crew was filming a documentary about the war in Ukraine, AOL reported. Betts, who previously served as a sniper in both Iraq and Afghanistan, told his Navy SEAL co-hosts, Kevin Kent and Ryan Williams, that he believed the story based on the convincing account of another service member who claimed to have been on the mission to Area 51. Alleged Underground Firefight and Directed-Energy Weapons
Betts said one soldier was fatally shot in the chest by the same type of directed-energy weapon while traversing a deep underground tunnel near the Nevada base.
"They said that they f---ing shot this creature that was bipedal, mildly reptilian-looking but had fingers and was using this weapon system," Betts said.
Betts acknowledged that the unidentified soldiers were drunk at the time, but he maintained that his source was still lucid and did not appear "sloppy."
Physical Confrontation and Threats of Silence
The podcaster alleges that he was threatened by both his source and another JSOC member who ordered him to stay quiet. The two soldiers' roles in the documentary were conveniently scrapped after Betts asked about the incident the following morning.
"I would have chalked it up to the wine if it wasn't for being choke-slammed up against a f---ing wall in the morning at 6 a.m.," Betts revealed.
Also, the fellow special forces soldier who claimed to be on the alleged Area 51 mission was not in the same hotel room in Poland when Betts heard the story, which led him to believe the service member's reaction was genuine.
"I'm like, 'Hey, so and so told me you know a thing or two about aliens.' Dude, he f---ing stops, turns me, grabs me by the f---ing neck, and f---ing slams me up against the wall," Betts recalled during a podcast episode in December 2025.
"And he's like, 'Nick, I f---ing swear to God. Never f---ing talk about this again.'"
Official Stance on Unidentified Phenomena
Both the US military and the White House had denied the existence of aliens and UFOs, citing a lack of physical evidence.
The Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) and federal defense agencies have consistently maintained that investigations into unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) have yielded no verifiable data or material evidence proving extraterrestrial origin or secret government reverse-engineering combat missions.
