On November 28, all parties who are represented in the Parliament met before the start of the Winter Session. The meeting was called by BJP, the ruling party, and the top agenda was to have a smooth, less acrimonious session as compared to the previous one. PM Narendra Modi gave it a miss despite previous reports that he would chair the session himself. The All Party Meet was chaired by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal.
