On May 12, Amanatullah Khan, AAP MLA was arrested by the Delhi Police. Khan was arrested for participating in a protest against an anti-encroachment drive. As reported by ANI, Khan was arrested for rioting & obstructing public servants in discharge of duty. On May 12, civic authorities carried out anti-encroachment drives in various parts of Delhi. On May 12 morning, Amanatullah Khan, who was part of the protest at Madanpur Khadar, was detained by Delhi police .
