Apart from Ganpati Visarjan in Maharashtra on Anant Chaturdashi, the Hindu festival also holds much significance and celebrations revolving around Lord Vishnu in other Indian states. People in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and other parts of the country celebrate this day by praying to Lord Vishnu, also known as Ananta and tie a sacred red thread. This is removed after 14-days. People also send each other festive greetings and mesages. Here's hoping that this Anant Chaturdashi, all our worries and troubles disappear.
