‘Anupamaa’ producer Rajan Shahi has dismissed recent rumours that lead actors Gaurav Khanna and Rupali Ganguly are leaving the popular show. Shahi confirmed that these reports are "untrue," emphasising that both stars are still crucial to the series. Speculation had arisen that the actors might exit due to an upcoming storyline leap involving Aurra Bhatnagar, who portrays Aadhya, the daughter of Anupama and Anuj. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Shahi refuted these rumours, stating, “This is completely false. Both Gaurav and Rupali are very much part of the show and their characters are integral to the story.”
