Veteran actor Arvind Trivedi, the Raavan in Ramanand Sagar's iconic TV series Ramayan, died at the age of 82. He was suffering from age-related illnesses. The actor suffered a heart attack on October 5 night. Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “For generations of Indians, he will be remembered for his work in the Ramayan TV serial.” Actor Sunil Lahri, who played the role of Lakshman in Ramayan paid tribute to the late actor. Actor Dipika Chikhalia, who essayed the role of Sita in the show said, “My heartfelt condolences to his family.” Arun Govil, who played the role of Ram in the epic show also tweeted.
