Kannad ghat of Aurangabad district witnessed landslides at many locations. This comes as heavy rains have been lashing parts of Marathwada, Maharashtra. The landslides caused damage to many vehicles that were passing from the ghat section of the national highway. As per a Times of India report, in the 10 km long ghat section, there have been landslides at four different locations. More than four dozen vehicles have been stuck on the way. A small truck along with its occupant driver and cleaner has been washed away deep into the ghat, reported The Times Of India. A search operation has been launched to find the vehicle and rescue the two people. Reportedly, around 12 vehicles were damaged and stuck in rubble. The incident has completely disrupted traffic movement on the Dhule – Aurangabad – Solapur national highway. Watch the video to know more.
