Ballia: Pregnant Woman Forced To Deliver on Floor of UP Govt Hospital, Disturbing Video Surfaces

An incident of gross medical negligence has come to light from Uttar Pradesh's Ballia district where a pregnant woman was forced to deliver on the floor of a government-run community health centre. The incident occurred last week and a video has gone viral on social media platforms. It was alleged that there were no doctors or medical staff present when the woman arrived at the healthcare centre. Speaking to a Hindi portal, a woman staffer said nobody stays at the community health centre in night because there are no guards for security. Meanwhile, an internal probe, launched after the incident, has reportedly confirmed that there was no staff present at the centre when the pregnant woman arrived.
