Nearly 100 people were killed after fresh wave of violence gripped Bangladesh on Sunday, August 4. Violent clashes broke out on the first day of the student-led non-cooperation programme, forcing authorities to impose nationwide curfew. Amid violent protests in Bangladesh, India issued an advisory, advising its nationals to refrain from travelling to Bangladesh until further notice.
