Bhai Dooj is a Hindu festival celebrated among brothers and sisters in India, Nepal and other countries on the second lunar day of the Shukla Paksha in the Hindu lunisolar month of Kartika. According to Hindu Calendar, Bhai Dooj 2022 falls on Wednesday, 26 October, which marks the end of Diwali celebrations. On this day, sisters apply tilak to their brothers' foreheads and perform other rituals such as puja, preparing meals, keeping vrat and reciting Katha to wish them a long life and wealth.
