Charanjit Singh Channi Is Congress's Chief Ministerial Face For Punjab Polls 2022

On February 6, Rahul Gandhi announced that Charanjit Channi will be Congress’ chief ministerial candidate in Punjab. This announcement, which was made at the Ludhiana virtual rally, comes just a few days ahead of elections in Punjab where the Congress party is in power. Charanjit Singh and Sidhu also hugged each other at the event. The Punjab polls will be held in a single phase on February 14 for 117 constituencies.
