On March 23,Ā IndiaĀ reiterated that Jammu andĀ KashmirĀ is an internal matter.Ā IndiaĀ said it rejects the uncalled reference to it made by Wang Yi, Chinese Foreign Minister. TheĀ Ministry of External Affairs said, āMatters related to the Union Territory of Jammu andĀ KashmirĀ are entirely the internal affairs ofĀ India. Other countries includingĀ ChinaĀ have no locus standi to comment. They should note thatĀ IndiaĀ refrains from public judgement of their internal issues.āĀ TheĀ Chinese Foreign Minister made a reference to Jammu &Ā KashmirĀ in his opening speech at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in Pakistan.
