Within minutes after the counting of votes began, the early leads showed Narendra Modi’s BJP leading. Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) soon got a thin edge over the BJP. AAP came to power in 2015 with a massive mandate. Exit polls have predicted another term for Arvind Kejriwal. Around half-a-dozen exit polls predicted that AAP will win 56 of the 70 seats and the BJP will have 14.
