Bakrid, also popularly known as Eid al-Adha, is celebrated with great zeal by Muslims across the globe. Bakrid or the Festival of sacrifice falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the IslamicĀ lunar calendar. On this auspicious occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings. President Droupadi Murmu also wished people on this auspicious occasion.
